Not really much to say today. It is hot outside and not all that cool inside though we have the air-conditioner going. I am sitting in my room upstairs which is never the smartest idea in the heat of the day with all the windows. I just want to share a few more pictures from when Jaxon and Ana were here.
Of all things, I have far more pictures of Ana. I did as much with Jaxon, we just didn’t record it all. This picture of Ana shows when she was playing with a little in-house water fountain that we received for Christmas from one of James’ brothers a few years ago. She had so much fun playing in that water, and she really didn’t make that big of a mess. Below is what Jaxon looked like when he was tired of swimming last Tuesday. Today he is swimming with Aunt Jessica in Jamestown at the reservoir.
One of the days they were visiting, Paulina gave Ana a little silver necklace. It did not take too long before there was an argument because they didn’t both have one. I just laughed and told them to come to my “magic” closet.
I have several crafty items in there including a little canister filled with colored beads. We bought them to wear when we went to state tournaments. Of course with the many different teams we followed, I have almost every color you can imagine. By the time we were finished picking, they had almost one of each. Later in the day, we realized that Jaxon’s neck was turning green from wearing them. It looked like someone had stepped on his neck and left a foot print. No picture of that.
Last picture is Ana at the pool on Tuesday. That was the day she nearly turned purple because she was so cold, but she would not get out of the water to go home. Victoria said that on Saturday night, she hung pretty tightly to Mama and Papa. When Jessica came to pick up Jaxon, she refused to leave them to talk to Jess. She also decided that she had to sleep with them, and took turns hanging on to one then the other. I guess when you are not quiet two, going away for a week is rather traumatic. I don’t really remember my children caring if I was gone. HA! Well, this is all for today. Hopefully I will have accomplished something tomorrow to have a post worth reading. James is gone to Fargo for the coaches clinic, so it might mean I will stay up all night hearing every bump in the night, worrying that some animal is on the porch eating the cats, and then sleep during the day, pretty typical when he is gone. At least Paulina is here, though not that she will notice any problems. HA!
