Yesterday was our Anniversary, 33 years of life together. We were in Dickinson and took Jaxon to the Dinosaur Museum. We had been promising him for a long time that when we come to visit him, we would take him there. Here are a few pictures of what we did.
I think this was at the entrance, but I am not sure now that I think about it. He enjoyed looking at all of the different places in the museum. There were lots of display cases and descriptions of what it was and where it was from. I actually expected more things to be from the local area. The picture below on the right is at the end of the tour and shows Grandma and Grandpa in the reflection.
Victoria stayed at home and did her rummage sale while Paulina watched Ana and then ended up making part of supper. Nate picked up some steaks when he got off work and we had grilled steaks with some of the fresh potatoes and beans fried up in butter. I cut up some cucumbers and we had those in the vinegar/half and half cream mixture. I only tell you this information because part of our day was spent at the local A & W restaurant. We had a super great time and tried to keep it a secret, but I ended up telling them where we were. Ha! It was really the best time of the weekend for me.
Later after supper we took a drive through the Teddy Roosevelt National Park. I will have more on that later with a few pictures. I have not yet looked at the ones that Paulina took. It became an unhappy part of the day because Paulina and I wanted to stop more for pictures, but James always hesitated because he was actually looking at the road and the mirror and checking for traffic. I also left a few pictures of the pumpkin garden on the lucindagardens site. Catch you later with more of the family/anniversary outing.
