Sitting around Sunday

Today after church, James and I were headed to Pierre. It is our state Capitol, but for our church the central spot for association meetings. We have been watching the weather, but it seemed to be fine. As we left town Paulina called, it was pretty bad north of town. Not a lot of snow but the roads were covered with a thin sheet of snowy ice. We were south of Selby when it started raining. The cars coming at us were snow covered. We turned around and went home.  we didn’t think it was worth the risk.

Now we are both relaxing on the couches. I am watching the first year of Numbers. Doesn’t get much better than that, except maybe if we had concessions set up in the kitchen. Hahaha!

Beyond that, I will be finishing off the cap on the needles. So much fun to finish projects! How are you spending your Sunday?

I love that series – Numbers. They were playing it on Wednesdays on ION, but have since stopped. I’ll have to see if I can check it out of the library.

I love the colors in that hat! Smart move to turn around and come back on our most dangerous Highway 83! That road is treacherous on a GOOD day! You were wise and certainly needed the rest!

Wise move . Sometimes it just makes more sense to turn around and go back home! Love the knit hat.

I was doing things I love – it’s reading a book, preparing dinner, etc.
