We woke this morning to white flakes falling from the sky. This is April for goodness sakes not November. Here is what it looked like at about 8:30 a.m.
And then old Mother Nature in all of her hilariousness decides it was just a little joke, and she decided to melt the snow, but not really, just enough, no real warm weather or sunshine.
Inside the house my raspberry and blueberry bushes are waiting to get out of their containers and into the real dirt. I so thought that I would be able to do that soon. I bought them on March 23, so it would be about time to get them into the ground.
Well enough of all this. I need to get to track practice, I guess. Not sure how or where with snow on the ground, well, ok so it is just cold, and the gyms are in use for little kids volleyball. Maybe we will hold little kids track next fall and see about how that works for the other coaches.

Getting a little tired of the snow here in “Minne-snow–ta” as well. These winters that just won’t quit can be a little frustrating! Here’s to spring not only showing up but staying 🙂

That would be nice, we have predictions of snow again tonight. It is always just a tease and enough to cancel the track meet. Maybe after Easter is over things will be better.

Frustrating when Spring teases you this way! A few years ago, my 2 daughters were making a trip during the first week of April, and got caught in a snowstorm in Rawlings Wyoming. My one daughter packed for “spring break” – shorts, flip flops etc…..She was surprised by the spring snow. Fortunately they were able to travel in 24 hours and continue to their destination!
