Advent Day 12: Jaxon is here

Victoria and Jaxon showed up late yesterday afternoon. They came earlier than we expected, and it was quite the night. Jaxon was having a great time checking on every Christmas ornament and decoration and toy. His two favorites were the little train sets and one of my snow globes. They were here because Victoria wants some help with a couple of sewing projects. I had agreed to it earlier, but after today….let’s just say my arms and shoulders are not strong enough for a blanket 3.5 yarns long, and that was only one width. Add to that there is a top and a bottom of the blanket. Let’s just say it was really heavy. It was also so big that we couldn’t possibly get it stretched enough, so the blanket went into the bag and we will dig it out again when the actual beg comes and we have something large enough to stretch it out on.

As we were struggling with the blanket, the sun came out and the day warmed up. Paulina was home so she and Jaxon went outside with a couple of the plastic sleds and took a few trips down the dike. It isn’t very high, but just enough for a youngster to have fun sliding down. Anyway, not much else to say about today. I will end with a few pictures.
