Sunflowers and moss roses in September

I was so surprised by the response to the sunflower pictures yesterday that I decided to take more. Mostly I wasn’t happy with what I had taken, and my batteries were dead, so after changing them out, I decided to take more shots this morning. Yesterday the sky was over cast so no shadows. This morning the sun was out bright as all. This afternoon it is cloudy and windy, and I am afraid the poor sunflowers are drooping because they have nothing to hold them up. Here are my pictures both sunflowers and moss roses in the tree stump. I am happy to report that the last few shots of rain have really helped out those moss roses. I found a stump at the other house I own with my sisters, and I think that next summer, I will play with flowers at that place too. Kathy has always wanted to plant a few things around that place to make it look better, and I am always complaining about not having enough space for gardening, well….I bet that place would look great surrounded by cosmos and zinnias and maybe even some holly hocks. Do I ask permission of the other three owners or just surprise them. Enough talk, hope you enjoy the pictures.
