Walking on Sunshine whoa…

Packing up the canned goods.

Packing up the canned goods.

Today is Sunday and I was supposed to fill in at the Wishek UCC Church, but I turned it down. I didn’t know how crazy my life would be with the Farmers Union Day Camp, so I decided to pass. Besides that there is another person that they can turn to, and maybe it is good if they do that more often. I always feel like I get boring and say the same thing over and over. I have a three-week stint coming up in Mobridge, so that will be a workout in writing for me.

The photos that are at the top of the blog sort of show you where we are in life. We are in the middle of packing the contents of the Linton house. James talked to his brothers, and we will likely borrow their pickup and trailer later this week to load and go. The direct tv ends on the 25th of this month, so reason enough to get moving. We also have to do some carpet cleaning and such before we can turn back the keys and say enough.

For me leaving will be bitter-sweet. I will be happy to be in one place without all the running back and forth, but I will be sad to leave this behind. As a house this place is nothing I would purchase, but there are lots of memories here.

Song for the day is really not about the song, just the chorus.
“I’m walking on sunshine whoa, And don’t it feel good hey alright now”
As you can tell, the sun is shining here, and it looks like it will be a beautiful day, though there are some clouds in the sky, and Paulina is not heading to work at the pool. The song mentioned above is a love song, but I am just thinking of the sun part. Well, I am closing before I get nostalgic or start coughing my head off, literally. I may have to consider a clinic tomorrow. I think this illness has come back with a vengeance.

Hope you get better soon. Didn’t realize you were moving. I’ll bet it will be bittersweet.
