Happy Day

Today is going to be a good day! I know this because we found the blanket. I didn’t even mention it last because it was so stressful. Jaxon’s pony blanket was missing. We searched everywhere. It was the second time we lost it this track season. James’ sister, Alvina found it on the ground where I had parked the car at the Eureka track meet the day of prom when Paulina threw, and we left early. This is the second version of the pony blanket. The first one was lost forever probably at the Steele truck stop when we picked up Jaxon for the weekend. I think the never out of the house rule might need to be followed to protect this blanket from future loss. Anyway, here is a shot of Jaxon with the blanket. I found it this morning by the shot put bleachers where we were sitting waiting for the discus event to happen. Fortunately here in North Dakota things don’t always disappear. I guess that is why we stay in the wide open plains and put up with the lack of culture and enjoy our nothing to do life style. Right now I can’t wait to get back to the big house with the porch and the garden out back. I am sooooo ready for some summer life.

Speaking of trusting, we were on a music trip and one student left her camera at the food court in the Spokane mall. She left her camera for less than 5 minutes and it was taken. We checked the security cameras and everything. I know that same thing could have happened in Fargo or Bismarck and the camera would still have been there or someone would have chase the girl down saying, “hey, you left your camera.”
    We are spoiled.
