April Blizzard

We woke this morning to snow. It had snowed all night. It has snowed all day. It is still snowing. Not sure when it will quit. We found out after she was safe that Jess went to Bismarck. She said the roads were fine until Sterling. Shortly after that, she found out that the legislature was off for tomorrow. I am happy that she made it, but yelled at her for trying.

So, I didn’t get outside to take photos, but below are three shots of what it was like. Oh ya, by the way, we cancelled the skating party for today. Wonder if we will have school. Paulina is sick, like stomach flu today. Actually feels like it is all connected. Weird.

I couldn’t get the photos up earlier, will try again now. Do have to report that the snow is still falling at 7 p.m. No school tomorrow for most of the area school. Paulina is still sick and now has a fever. Hopefully, the cold cloths and pills will take it down soon. At least we aren’t stranded. We live one block from the local hospital if she gets really bad.

Our neighbors to the south, through the window screen.

Snow coming into the screen and filling up the windows. This house needs work.

Just a note, we are renting. Windows need replacing. I think owners plan to do it when we leave. Yikes, no wonder it gets so cold in here in the winter.

Looking south from the livingroom. Snow was really blowing at this time.

I guess the gardening will have to wait a few more days.
