I Want Moma!!

Oh how I wish that I my phone was more than just a phone. In other words, I can take photos and some videos, but I don’t have the ability to do things like a smart phone does. This morning I took a video of Jaxon having a fit about wanting his Moma. About the only thing I could do with the video was to show him again. It actually did the trick. After seeing that video and a few others that Paulina had on her phone, he snuggled in beside me and eventually said he wanted some cereal.

Right now we have finished breakfast, bathroom and are in for a marathon of Team Umizoomi. We are watching the episode with the trouble makers and the baby penguins. I am guessing a few of you know exactly which episode this is. I am also guessing there are some of you who have never seen Nick Jr. and are wondering what weirdness we are watching.

Jaxon did get off the couch long enough to yell at the trouble makers and make a run around the living room. I don’t normally go for toddlers hanging on the couch, but he has such a bad cough right now that I want to stick him under a tent with a mister, so limited movement on the couch with a quilt, orange juice and a good rub down are about the best I can do.

Jaxon on the couch.

We have homemade rice soup on the menu for lunch. I would like to do the noodle with homemade noodles, but doing that would mean less time with Jaxon so that is how it goes. Right now we are on Dora the Explorer. Well, I am going to get off the computer so that I can be the lap. We keep telling Jaxon he is missing out. Paulina had a grandma who gave smoke kisses. Jaxon just has a grandma with plain cheek kisses.

A grandma with any kind of kisses sounds good… Happy weekending, Lucinda, and don’t you get a cough.
